Learning for lives of purpose

Welcome to Dock!

The Dock Mennonite Academy community welcomes you to our web site. We are delighted to give you a glimpse into our school. We would like to introduce you to our faculty and staff-people of integrity, respect, and professionalism.

Explore a curriculum that is infused with faith and values, critical thinking, problem posing, and problem solving. Excellence in academic, social, and spiritual areas is the expected standard here.

Dock Mennonite Academy provides a school experience where faculty members know your name!

Five distinctives characterize and guide Dock Mennonite Academy: Christ-centered, educational excellence, opportunities, community, and peace/service. The Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective is taken seriously and guides school operations and Biblical teaching.

An exciting and unique thread woven through the Dock Mennonite Academy curriculum is building community-the genius of faculty linking the important tenets of faith in a learning community with practical school experiences. Components that build community include: Freshman Retreat; Sophomore service; Junior Social Issues class; and Senior Experience (week-long, self-designed service/job shadowing), and Senior Presentations.

This web site will provide daily schedules, news, course syllabi, and contact information. Capture the positive and challenging essence of a student body that is committed to a learning environment and campus tone based on high trust. The Covenant Statement that each student and parent signs when joining our school, indicates the level of commitment to our unique school program. Welcome!
